Sardar Sarovar Dam

The Sardar Sarovar Dam is a concrete gravity dam built on the Narmada river in Navagam near Kevadiya, Narmada District, Gujarat in India. The Sardar Sarovar project was a vision of the first deputy prime minister of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s Statue or the Statue of Unity & the Museum was inaugurated near the Narmada Dam in Gujarat in 2018 by PM Modi on Sardar Patel’s 143rd birth anniversary.

Laser Show

The Laser Show at the Statue of Unity illuminates the structure of 182- meter height. The laser show is conducted in the evening time. The Laser Light and Sound Show will show the journey of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and its role to create India as a nation from various subcontinents. The show uses statues as a canvas with a beautiful mixture of laser lights, sound, graphics, and storytelling. The 30-minute show leaves the viewers spellbound.

Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers at Statue of Unity is one of the major Attractions Near Statue of Unity located at Kevadia Colony in Gujarat. At present in the first phase, the Valley of Flowers is developed in 250 hectares of the area; in the later phase it is going to develop in 3000 hectares the total area of the valley will be 3200 hectares. In this valley, two lakes named Poyani and kamal are developed.

The Cactus Garden at Statue of Unity is a unique botanical garden at the Statue of Unity site, created to exhibit a huge variety of Cactus and succulents, the true miracles of adaptation. The thought behind the development of the cactus garden is to provide an experience of the desert ecosystem in the midst of a landmass well entrenched in an aquatic surrounding. There are 6 lakh plants of 450 species spread across 25 acres of open land and inside the dome having an area of 836 square meters.

It is a Global Forest and offers a natural aesthetic beauty. The thought of Vishwa Van was conceptualized by our Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who after guiding the construction of Statue of Unity in just 46 months, envisioned the integrated development of Kevadia on the theme of Unity in diversity. Vishwa Van (a Global Forest) at Statue of Unity is home to herbs, shrubs and trees native to all 7 continents signifying the underlying theme of ‘Unity in Bio-diversity’ in global context as well.
